Local pizza delivery experts, Domino’s Pizza in Redhill, have raised over £350 for Armed Forces charity – Help for Heroes.
The team from the store in High Street, sold pizza slices for £1 for four hours on a busy Saturday afternoon in Redhill and donated all the proceeds to Help for Heroes. Despite the wet weather, local pizza lovers turned out to support the fundraising and Domino’s raised a grand total of £354.
Mark Anderson, manager of the Domino’s store in Redhill, said: “We are delighted to raise this money to Help for Heroes. It absolutely poured with rain during our fundraising event but that didn’t dampen the spirits of Redhill in supporting such a worthy cause.”
All Domino’s Pizza stores are charged with delivering more to their local community. This is a programme run by Domino’s head office to encourage all stores to support charities and events and play an active role in their neighbourhoods.
