- New store in Hythe raises over £250 for charity during pizza training -

Domino’s, the local pizza delivery expert, has raised over £250 for Children in Need by selling pizzas made during a staff training session at the new store in Hythe.

The pizza training was taking place while the store made its final preparations for the official opening later this week.

Glen Drysdale, franchisee of the new Domino’s store in Hythe, said: “We were all polishing up our saucing, cheesing and topping skills on Saturday and rather than let our hard work go to waste, we decided to auction the best pizzas to local businesses for Children in Need. We raised £253.72 and are delighted to be able to help such a good cause. We can’t wait to open our new store and look forward to supporting other very worthy charities when we’re officially open.”

Located at Unit 5 The Marsh, Domino’s new Hythe store is set to open on Saturday [November 28, 2009]. The store has given a welcome boost to the area with the creation of 20 new jobs for trainee managers, trainee pizza makers, customer service representatives and delivery experts.
